I’ve been a Goodreads member for almost ten years, but have recently been approved as a Goodreads Author.(I actually did a happy dance, complete with whooping and hollering that probably would have gotten me a penalty in the NFL, when the notification arrived.)
When the NanoBlogHop spreadsheet was created, I didn’t list my Goodreads account, so if you’d like to connect with me over there, the link is:

I’m curious what you’d like to see on the author blog. More about the writing process, the characters in the book, more poodle photos?
I’ve always been a voracious reader. I once bought a house specifically because of the library ladder and the floor to ceiling shelves in the main living room. I miss that house, it was a sanctuary for me at just the right time in my life when I was finding my voice as a writer. Now it is a sanctuary for another artist who I hope is just as happy there.
My latest project, this year’s NaNoWriMo novel, explores the spectrum of bipolar and schizophrenia disorders. I managed to incorporate my library ladder and those shelves into the story, so they live on.
Ah, the power of the written word…
Congrats on being accepted as a Goodreads author! Just out of curiosity, what’s the criteria for being accepted?

I had to fill out a questionnaire with things like an email address for publisher, website, Amazon page, etc. Since this is my first published book, it felt great to be accepted as an author.
